Passengers on Southwest Airlines from Long Beach to Honolulu were greeted with Mitchell Ukuleles and the first in-flight music lesson taught by Guitar Center teachers. Passengers on the Boeing 737-800 received a Mitchell MU40 Soprano ukulele, a Road Runner carrying case, and a one-of-a-kind lesson in the sky. Best-in-class Guitar Center Lessons instructors demonstrated how simple it is to learn to play the ukulele, one of Hawaii’s most popular and well-known instruments – so simple, passengers were able to learn to play the song “Hello there, Aloha. How are you? “throughout the flight Passengers on board began their weekend journey across the Pacific Ocean, one chord at a time, with a sweet-sounding surprise and an unforgettable travel day to the “Crossroads of the Pacific”.
