Ocean House, one of just 12 triple Forbes Five-Star hotels worldwide, is situated on the picturesque Atlantic Ocean shore in the old-world community of Watch Hill, Rhode Island. An historic beachfront resort in New England, Ocean House first opened its doors to visitors in 1868 and remained open for more than 136 years before being restored.

The exterior of the current Ocean House, which made its debut in 2010, is a reproduction of the original. World-class amenities, attentive service, and tastefully furnished guest rooms pay homage to New England’s heyday of hospitality. Today’s highly regarded Ocean House features 20 signature suites, 49 luxurious guest rooms, a Forbes Five-Star spa, a number of restaurants, the Center for Wine & Culinary Arts, full-service beach services during the summer, a vast collection of more than 250 original works of art, complimentary wine, cooking classes, and croquet (during the summer), among other amenities.
