Avelo Airlines today announced the addition of four major Southeastern United States destinations to its East Coast service from Connecticut’s most convenient airport, Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN). Avelo will begin offering nonstop service between HVN and two South Carolina destinations in May: Myrtle Beach and Charleston, as well as Savannah, Ga. / Hilton Head, S.C., and Nashville, Tenn.

Avelo’s East Coast network has been expanded from HVN to ten exclusive nonstop destinations as a result of the announcement. Avelo flies from HVN to six sunny Florida destinations: Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando, Sarasota/Bradenton, Tampa, and West Palm Beach.

Boeing Next-Generation 737-700 aircraft will fly the additional routes. AveloAir.com has low introductory one-way tickets on all four new routes starting at $49*.

Avelo will be the only airline serving nonstop flights between Connecticut and Savannah/Hilton Head, as well as between Southern Connecticut and Myrtle Beach, Charleston, and Nashville, when it launches its expanded service on May 5, 2022.

In the middle of the crowds, long lines, long treks, and traffic congestion experienced by Connecticut passengers at other airports, HVN provides a delightfully smooth and straightforward alternative hometown airport experience. HVN is Connecticut’s most handy and easily accessible airport due to its proximity to many major highways and commuter rails.

Among the destination coming up are,

Myrtle Beach: Flights will be available six days a week starting May 5: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Charleston: Flights will be available four days a week starting on May 5: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Savannah / Hilton Head: Flights will be available four days a week starting on May 6: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Nashville: Beginning May 6, flights are initially scheduled to operate four days per week: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Customers who make bookings over the phone at Avelo are not charged. Additionally, Avelo offers numerous unbundled travel-enhancing alternatives, including as priority boarding, checked baggage, carry-on overhead bags, and carrying a pet in the cabin, that allow Customers to pay for what they value.
