Battleship Cove is a popular tourist destination in New England.  It is situated at the convergence of the Taunton River and Mount Hope Bay, partially beneath the Braga Bridge and adjacent to Fall River Heritage State Park, in the heart of the waterfront. Visitors can explore the area by hiking or biking trails, or by taking a boat tour. The area surrounding the cove also features a number of restaurants, cafes, and shops.

What Can You See and Do at Battleship Cove?

The cove is home to a number of attractions that can be enjoyed by visitors of all ages. Some of the attractions include battleships, a destroyer, a submarine, PT boats, among other nautical attractions. The battleship USS Massachusetts (BB-59)  is a must-see for visitors. Comprising eight vessels, the Battleship Cove fleet is the largest and most diverse collection of historic naval ships in the world. During the summer, the battleship makes a small cove that serves as a safe harbor for pleasure ships.

How to Get There and Hours of Operation

Battleship Cove is located in Fall River, Massachusetts. Battleship Cove is open for visitors on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, 9am-4pm.   Tickets may be purchased online or at the museum.
