Casa Las Olas, designed by Jaime Rouillon Architecture, is visible from the moment one enters the property. It is located on a cliffside on the beautiful Northwest coast at the extremity of the peninsula. The opulent entrance creates the mood for an unforgettable Costa Rican getaway. Upon arrival, visitors are greeted in a beautiful courtyard with artfully landscaped native Costa Rican flora, creating a tropical start to one’s pura vida trip.
In the center of the house is a stunning garden with plumeria trees, heliconia plants, spider lilies, and other exotic flora. The second storey is reached via a grand staircase with wrought iron balusters and exposed plaster walls. A huge, thin canopy roof overlay that dramatically covers the front and back entryways of the house adds a striking aesthetic element while also providing shade. This contemporary bi-level property blends the greatest aspects of indoor and outdoor living with 180-degree views of the ocean and bay from many of the vantage points.
The home’s six bedrooms include two master suites on opposite sides of the property that look out over the Pacific Ocean’s azure waves and the stunning rock environment.
