Beaches® Negril and Sandals Halcyon will introduce thoughtfully designed, all-new suite ideas in the spring of 2023. At Sandals Resorts International (SRI), anticipation for 2023 is growing as the region’s top all-inclusive resort operator unveiled the next-generation additions to its cherished, iconic family resort, Beaches Negril in Jamaica, and the lush, natural Sandals Halcyon Beach in Castries, St. Lucia. The new expansions at both resorts are open for reservations beginning December 12, 2022 for travel beginning April 6, 2023, ushering in a year of unprecedented development and momentum across both brands.
Beaches Negril, a favorite among families for its cozy atmosphere and traditional island hospitality, will increase its room count to 197 luxurious accommodations by adding a total of 12 new and spacious butler suites. Six brand-new Firesky Reserve Villas, inspired by the destination’s mesmerizing technicolor sunsets, are among the new additions. They are positioned directly on the beach at the resort’s northern end and each provide an expansive four bedrooms spanning three levels and an unheard-of 3,700 square feet.
The Firesky Reserve Villas can accommodate up to 10 guests and are ideal for big families looking to foster deeper moments of connection. They feature well-appointed living areas, stylish kitchens, private oceanfront plunge pools, and rooftop decks with dining terraces that give way to views of the Caribbean Sea. The Eventide Penthouse Collection, which is located on the opposite end of the resort’s coastline and consists of six suites, pays homage to the calm waters and the little change in tides along the beach.
Each suite has three to four bedrooms, can accommodate up to 18 guests, and has access to a rooftop terrace perfect for stargazing and soaking up the calming breeze. Indoors, large balconies, walkout patios, and cleverly planned living spaces give way to the horizon. The resort’s Camp Sesame will be housed in a brand-new structure that will open before the height of the summer season, adding to the current 10 fine dining establishments, Pirates Island Waterpark, and other award-winning attractions at Beaches Negril.
Sandals Halcyon Beach, which enjoys access to some of St. Lucia’s calmest and bluest waters, makes the most of its enchanted location by introducing 25 butler-served rooms. Twenty Joli Beachfront Suites, which live up to their name as the Creole word for “beautiful,” are part of the expansion and are constructed right on the edge of the beach. They offer a mix of suites with walkout beach access and private pools, as well as second-story accommodations with balconies featuring Tranquility Soaking TubsTM.
King-sized beds are strategically placed in the suites’ open-air interiors, which include natural woods, blue color schemes, and subtle island flower accents. These views of the sea are available from sunrise to sunset.
