Football Fans Are Treated Well At This Hotel For Trailblazers

The first-ever “Fansgiving” dinner, the return of the Super Bowl Sleepover, and special events just for Marriott Bonvoy members are all happening at the NFL’s official hotel. As the NFL enters its 12th season, Courtyard by Marriott®, one of 30 extraordinary hotel brands in Marriott Bonvoyportfolio, ®’s today unveiled the new “This is Where We Fan” season-long program to encourage football fans to follow their passion for the game wherever it takes them while discovering new places and strengthening their fandom.

The first-ever “Fansgiving” Dinner on the New York Giants home field, as well as the grand prize of the Courtyard Super Bowl Sleepover, where winners will spend the night in the stadium over Super Bowl LVII weekend, are among the prizes available in the contest marking the official launch of “This is Where We Fan.” NFL supporters can enter by writing about how they celebrate their individual fandoms, even when traveling.

After Courtyard and Marriott Bonvoy announced a new, exclusive five-year deal with the NFL, extending their previous engagement of more than ten years, the 2022–23 programming was announced. By providing access to special, shared experiences that no other travel program can provide, the collaboration will keep bringing fans closer to the game they love, both domestically and abroad.

Last season, when road teams won at a higher proportion than home teams, it was the first time in history that the idea of home-field advantage was no longer relevant. In order to win one of these incredible experiences, as well as a season’s worth of Courtyard hotel stays, Courtyard is asking football fans to share their favorite travel tales. Devoted supporters travel from near and far to support their teams while they are on the road.

Courtyard “Fansgiving” Dinner on the 50: This year’s ultimate Thanksgiving party will combine the two great traditions of travel and football. The week before Thanksgiving, a few lucky fans and their guests will be invited to a special supper on the 50-yard line of the New York Giants’ home stadium, along with a one-night hotel stay. Additionally, a limited number of seats will only be redeemable by Marriott Bonvoy members. The deadline for the contest is October 15, 2022.

The winner of the Super Bowl Sleepover and a guest will receive exclusive access to an overnight stay in a stadium suite that has been converted into a Courtyard guest room with a field view, making them the first people to wake up in the stadium on Super Bowl Sunday. The contest will run from October 8, 2022, through November 18, 2022, and in addition to the sleepover, Courtyard will welcome the winner and three friends for a weekend of breathtaking experiences with access to special activities, ending with tickets to Super Bowl LVII.

By posting a video or photo on TikTok, Instagram, or Twitter during each entry period with the hashtag #CourtyardFanContest and mentioning @CourtyardHotels to show where they are a fan and who they are with, fans can enter the contest. The creativity, relevance, originality, and impact of the submissions will be evaluated. Each event’s winners will be revealed in stages during the course of the NFL season.
