A refuge of life-changing encounters ushered in a new era with the best in food, entertainment, and wellness. With the launch of JW Marriott Hotel Berlin, JW Marriott, one of 30 remarkable hotel brands in Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio, debuts its second property in Germany. The JW Marriott Hotel Berlin, which is owned by one of the top hospitality investment firms, Al Rayyan Tourism Investment Company (ARTIC), draws people together via thoughtfully designed spaces, friendly service, and a dedication to well-being.

This news completes the first phase of the facility’s renovation to become a part of the renowned JW Marriott brand, which will provide a fresh perspective on the hospitality scene in the nation’s capital. The building was formerly known as Hotel Berlin Central District. The 505-room JW Marriott Hotel Berlin, which is situated on the busy Stauffenbergstraße street, is next to Tiergarten, one of Germany’s biggest urban gardens with about 520 acres of forested land, tree-lined walks, and glittering lakes.

Dark green and warm brown colors with vivid marble are used throughout the hotel’s interiors, which were overseen by the design firm El Ghoneimi. These colors are inspired by the nearby Tiergarten. The hotel’s spectacular Presidential Suite’s terrace offers visitors enormous views of Tiergarten and the surrounding metropolis, while artwork reflecting the grandeur of nature fills the restaurants, common areas, and suites with a joyous and inspirational vibe.

The eight dining options at the JW Marriott Hotel Berlin, all of which have undergone a complete overhaul, are managed by Chef Friedemann Heinrich. Each dining concept is supported by a dedication to providing exceptional, mouthwatering masterpieces while sourcing fresh, local ingredients and practicing sustainability. At Market Restaurant, where patrons can pick herbs for breakfast from the JW Garden or take home seeds to continue growing veggies at home, locally sourced ingredients take on a whole new meaning.

The opening of JW Steakhouse in Germany, which serves steak and other meat specialties made from the best cuts of meat as well as vegetarian and vegan options, is undoubtedly the main event. The eatery is expected to quickly establish itself as the hub of meaningful interactions over delectable fare in Berlin. Fresh juices, salads, bowls, and sandwiches are available all day long at The Berlin Baking Company.

Additional options include the classy Lobby Lounge Bar, which offers Champagne and Afternoon Tea in addition to appetizers, aperitifs, and coffees all day; the Cigar Lounge; or the buzzing Bar 26, which features the hotel’s very own “hanging garden.”  With more than 48 event rooms totaling over 6,290 sqm, including the largest ballroom in Berlin with seating for over 2,300 guests, JW Marriott Hotel Berlin boasts some of the most extensive meetings and events services in the city. The meeting and events spaces will enable visitors and attendees to forge meaningful connections in keeping with the brand’s attentive approach to food and design, with the skilled events team on standby to anticipate the demands of each client.
