Spirit offers More Go starting April 20, connecting the Granite State’s mountains with the Grand Strand’s beaches. Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) is celebrating the debut of Spirit Airlines’ newest route to Myrtle Beach International Airport today (MYR). MHT can now provide direct service to the state of South Carolina for the first time.
This seasonal nonstop route will launch just in time for spring break in New Hampshire and the hectic summer travel season. New Hampshire residents can enjoy the warm ocean waters or play a game of golf at one of Myrtle Beach’s many golf courses. Granite Staters will be able to enjoy a variety of leisure opportunities made available by Spirit’s new daily flight, whether they want to jump in the water or play on the field.
The A319 service to Myrtle Beach has been upgraded to the A320, resulting in a 25% increase in available seats. Seasonal operations from Manchester to Tampa International Airport (TPA) and Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers are being replaced by MYR service. These two routes were supposed to cease today, but due to their popularity, they were extended until May 4, 2022. In the fall, the flights are planned to resume.
Spirit and MHT are giving away four round-trip tickets from Manchester to Myrtle Beach, together with a four-night stay at the Island Vista Resort in Myrtle Beach, as part of the celebration on April 20th. This freebie, dubbed “Spiritaneous” by the airline, encourages passengers to pack their belongings and arrive at MHT at the stated time a few hours before the next departure.
One winner will be chosen at random, and they will be able to bring up to three guests with them on their trip to Myrtle Beach. For additional details about the giveaway, click here. Spirit Airlines is the first new airline at MHT in 17 years and was first announced on June 16, 2021.
Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is strategically positioned in the heart of New England, just fifty miles north of Boston, Massachusetts, and less than an hour’s drive from the region’s most popular ski resorts, gorgeous seacoast beaches, and quiet lakefront resorts. MHT is the region’s most important aviation hub.
