Richard Orlinski, a World-Renowned contemporary artist, joins Hublot for a Los Angeles debut at ART ANGELS.

Art Angels, curators of modern and provocative art, is pleased to announce the debut of works by world-renowned artist Richard Orlinski in the United States. Art Angels, which has been at the forefront of the contemporary art scene in the United States, is teaming up with Orlinski to unveil his newest exhibition, “Born Wild – LA Edition,” as well as pieces from his recent Hublot collaboration. On April 13th, the exhibit will open with a small opening reception.

Despite his architectural credentials, Orlinski became completely involved in the world of pop culture. In 2004, the Parisian began sculpting, producing enormous, defiant geometric animal forms that embraced the theme of “Born Wild.” His works grew in popularity quickly and achieved international acclaim. Natural elements became his signature and forte as he reinterpreted modern art norms.

Orlinski is broadening his reach by collaborating with Art Angels on “Born Wild – LA Edition.” Art Angels will debut this highly anticipated show with Orlinski’s Hublot partnership by throwing an intimate soiree of industry tastemakers. The event will highlight Orlinski’s talents while also celebrating the art gallery’s Los Angeles flair.

Art Angels‘ return to in-person events since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic will be marked by the release of “Born Wild – LA Edition.” The gallery continues its efforts to encourage fresh faces to visit the physical space after a year of virtual tours and social media live videos.

After this exclusive debut on April 13th, the exhibition will be open to the public. The exhibit will feature a 78″ new iteration of Orlinski’s iconic Kong perched atop a never-seen-before element, as well as a 6 x 6 ft digital platform screen to exhibit all things digital, thanks to a cooperation with Eleusis Digital Canvas.

Jacquelin Napal and Kat Emery launched Art Angels, a modern art gallery with locations in Los Angeles and Miami, in 2013. They also have homes in the Nobu Hotel in Miami Beach, the Eden Roc Hotel in Miami Beach, and the Catch Restaurant in Los Angeles.
