The newly opened resort studios provide members with another option for lodging at the beloved Disney Vacation Club resort.
To commemorate the inauguration of the new resort apartments at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Vacation Club officials, invited guests, and a few special Disney friends gathered today. More Disney Vacation Club members have the chance to call this favorite resort “home” thanks to the recent addition of more than 200 resort studios.
Bill Diercksen, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Vacation Club, delivered the dedication comments in a setting designed to resemble a garden tea party. Along with the enlargement, Diercksen also revealed that the exquisite luxury studios, one- and two-bedroom villas, as well as the roomy three-bedroom grand villas that sleep up to 12 guests, had received new improvements.
Just in time for this unique “tea party” to come to an end, Alice, the Mad Hatter, and the White Rabbit joined in the fun and showed everyone where to find the magical key that unlocked the first glimpse of the new resort studios. The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa have long been a favorite resort among Disney Vacation Club members thanks to its touch of Victorian beauty and elegance as well as convenient access to Walt Disney World Resort via monorail, motorcoach, and water taxi services.
Disney Vacation Club members can anticipate personalized service, lots of charm, and relaxing vacations with many of the conveniences of home, including a kitchen and washer and dryer in one- and two-bedroom villas, as well as truly elegant three-bedroom grand villas, during a stay at this magical resort.
There are currently 15 Disney Vacation Club properties spread across four states, including Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas in Ko Olina, Hawaii, and Disney’s Riviera Resort, the newest Disney Vacation Club property at Walt Disney World Resort. The pioneer in vacation ownership, Disney Vacation Club, made its debut in 1991 with a flexible, points-based system in place of the conventional fixed-week timeshare model. More than 250,000 families from all 50 states and around 100 other countries are members of Disney Vacation Club as of this writing.
A stay at any Disney Vacation Club Resort or any of the thousands of other vacation alternatives available in locations all over the world are just a few of the fascinating vacation options available to Disney Vacation Club members. Additionally, when making a direct purchase from Disney, members can take advantage of the Disney Collection, which includes specific Disney Resort hotels, the Disney Cruise Line, and guided vacations with Adventures by Disney or National Geographic Expeditions. Members can also take advantage of the World Collection, which includes a variety of renowned resorts and hotels in famous cities, far-off places, and exotic locales.
