The Empire State Building (ESB) announced today that Tipsy Scoop, a hand-crafted, liquor-infused ice cream and sorbet business, will provide boozy sweets on the 86th Floor Observatory every Wednesday through Sunday, August 3–September 5 from 1–9 p.m. Three of Tipsy Scoop’s pre-packaged alcoholic flavors, including dark chocolate whiskey salted caramel ice cream, mango margarita sorbet, and raspberry limoncello sorbet, will be available for $8 at the building’s pop-up cart. A $12 pina colada plant-based ice cream sundae with rum and pineapple rum infusions, whipped cream, sprinkles, gummy bears, and sweets with New York City themes will also be available from the cart. For $4.50, non-alcoholic tastes like cherry, chocolate, and vanilla will also be offered.

For a chance to be featured on ESB social platforms, guests are asked to enjoy their goodies while taking in the renowned view. Future announcements will mention additional monthly pop-up events at the Empire State Building Observatory. The “World’s Most Famous Building,” the Empire State Building, is 1,454 feet above Midtown Manhattan from base to antenna and is owned by Empire State Realty Trust, Inc. (ESRT: NYSE).

With a dedicated guest entrance, an interactive museum with nine galleries, and a remodeled 102nd Floor Observatory with floor-to-ceiling windows, the $165 million refurbishment of the Empire State Building Observatory Experience delivers an entirely new experience. The tour to the famed 86th Floor Observatory, the only 360-degree open-air observatory with views of New York and beyond, serves to prepare guests for their time in New York City and covers everything from the legendary history of the structure to its present status in pop culture.

The structure’s numerous levels are mostly occupied by a wide range of office tenants, including LinkedIn and Shutterstock, as well as retail establishments as STATE Grill and Bar, Tacombi, and Starbucks. With its trendy alcoholic scoops and very Instagrammable ice cream creations since 2013, Tipsy Scoop has quickly established a reputation for itself.
