On October 25, 2021, the White House and the CDC announced details of the new immunization policy that will go into effect for international travelers to the United States on November 8th. As of this date, foreign domestic air travelers to the United States, with few exceptions. , must be fully vaccinated and present proof of vaccination status before boarding an aircraft to the United States.

New United States International Air Travel Policy, it replaces existing country-by-country restrictions, launching a coherent approach around the world.

Fully vaccinated air travelers will continue to have to show documentation of a negative viral test prior to departure made within three days of the trip to the United States before boarding.
