The proclamation does not affect the visa application procedures of the U.S. Embassy or the standards for issuing U.S. visas.
The proclamation does not affect immigrant visa holders.
This proclamation will apply to persons on board flights arriving in the United States after 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. on November 8, 2021 (10:01 h, Tashkent local).
Once the proclamation is in effect, travelers will be required to submit a vaccination test as defined by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) before boarding a plane bound for the United States. Information on accepted COVID-19 vaccines, the acceptable test for COVID-19 vaccination, the definition of total vaccination and limited exemptions can be found on the following websites:

Exceptions:
Categories of non-citizen nonimmigrants who meet the criteria for an exception include:
Children under 18 People on diplomatic or foreign government travel

Vaccinated travelers and children:
Vaccinated travelers, regardless of nationality, must have a viral test no later than 3 days before the departure of the flight from a foreign country and show a copy of the negative result of the test. These requirements do not apply to children under 2 years of age.
Unvaccinated children will follow their parents’ testing regimen:
Unvaccinated children traveling with vaccinated parents will be required to demonstrate a negative test done during the previous three calendar days. Unvaccinated children traveling alone or with unvaccinated adults must take the test within one calendar day of departure.
